All schools must fill out the chaperon information form. The form has been emailed out.

 

Parli judges should bring a device that can connect to the internet.

 

SCHEDULE

- Second-flight debaters must go to the rooms listed on the postings and be ready to debate as soon as the first flight finishes.

- This is a tentative schedule. Rounds may be pushed up if it becomes possible to run the tournament ahead of schedule, and may be delayed if there are unforeseen difficulties.

 

8:30AM - 9:00AM -- Official Chaperone Check-In and Registration (schools not checked in by 9:15AM by the legal chaperone will be dropped)

8:30 - 9:00 -- Judge Check-In (schools without all judges checked in by 9:15AM risk league penalties including but not limited to dropping entries)

9:15 - 9:30 -- Judging Instructions

9:15 - 10:00 -- Parli Judging/Tabroom Instructions

 

LD (double-flighted), PF (double-flighted), Policy (single-flighted), Parli (single-flighted)

 

9:30 - Round 1 Pairings and Ballots Released

9:45 - Round 1 must start in LD, PF, policy. Both Ld and PF flights must arrive at the room by this time.

9:50 - Round 1 parli resolution announced

 

11:30 - Round 2 Pairings and Ballots Released

11:35 - Round 2 parli resolution announced

11:45 - Round 2 must start in LD, PF, policy. Both Ld and PF flights must arrive at the room by this time.

 

1:30PM - Lunch Break. Students, judges, and coaches must remain on campus.

 

2:00 - Round 3 Pairings and Ballots Released

2:05 - Round 3 parli resolution announced

2:15 - Round 3 must start in LD, PF, policy. Both Ld and PF flights must arrive at the room by this time.

 

4:15-4:30 - Awards

Resolved: Adolescents ought to have the right to make autonomous medical choices.
